There are two predominant methods for the installation of PVC roof films:
Complete Bonding:
This technique involves attaching the film directly to the substrate using adhesive or hot-air welding. It provides outstanding waterproofing and enhanced wind uplift resistance but demands meticulous surface preparation and might be more time-intensive.
Mechanical Fixation:
In this method, the film is fixed to the roof deck using mechanical anchors like screws or plates. Offering quicker installation, this method may not provide the same water resistance as a fully adhered system. Factors like building height, location, weather conditions, and local codes must guide your choice of installation method.
No matter the installation method, consider critical factors like roof slope for optimal PVC film performance, especially on flat or low-pitched roofs for effective water drainage. Insulation type under the membranes is crucial too; choose wisely to complement the PVC roofing system.

1) How to Choose Suitable Waterproof Membranes?
- For exposed areas like roofs, we recommend TPO or PVC waterproof membranes, which can be applied using welding or adhesive methods.
- For unexposed areas such as kitchens or bathrooms, opt for high polymer PE combined with non-woven fabric, applied using cement, with tiles adhering well to the cement.
