Torch Down Bitumen Waterproof Membranes are a pivotal choice across various grades of buildings, perfect for waterproofing and seepage-proofing tasks. Whether for exposed or concealed applications, they effortlessly adapt to flat roofs, sloped roofs, underground spaces, tunnels, bridges, parking lots, reservoirs, and beyond.

Application method:
1. Substrate:
Ensure that the substrate is meticulously clean, dry, and free from all contaminants, prepared to the highest standard.
All dust and loose, friable materials must be thoroughly eradicated to ensure optimal adhesion.
Blowholes and voids should be completely exposed and meticulously repaired to maintain a smooth surface.
2. Primer:
Apply a primer before membrane installation. Clean the substrate with precision using a dust catcher or blower and coat thoroughly with a treatment primer, ensuring superior waterproofing and adhesion enhancement.
3. Membrane placement:
*Unroll the torch-on membrane with care, and align it precisely before initiating the torching or bonding process.
*Lay each membrane in parallel, staggered by at least 1 meter to avoid overlapping joints.
*Ensure end-to-end overlaps are alternated and never aligned along a single line.
*Begin at the lowest slope height, starting with drains, downpipes, or other crucial details.
*During torching, apply heat to both the membrane and substrate simultaneously, focusing on the roll and overlap areas.
*Overlaps must be welded with precision, with a thin trickle of melted mixture, approximately 1 cm wide, along the overlap line for optimal performance.
4.Utilize a roller to firmly press down on the membrane surface, ensuring a secure and enduring adhesion.


Attention:
1. Ensure the substrate is dry and impeccably clean. Avoid installation on rainy or snowy days for best results.
2. Refrain from working in heavy winds exceeding grade 5 to maintain quality and safety.
3. Not suitable for construction in conditions below 5°C.
4. If rain or snow occurs during construction, protective measures for the laid membrane are essential to prevent any damage.
5. All personnel must wear specialized uniforms for safety during installation. Fire control equipment is essential for safety compliance.


Packing and shipping:
1. Store membranes in dry, well-ventilated conditions to preserve quality.
2. Store different membrane types separately to avoid cross-contamination.
3. Under normal conditions, the storage period is one year from the production date for maintaining efficacy.
4. During transportation, store membrane rolls vertically and protect them from sunlight and rain to prevent damage.
