Torch Down Bitumen Waterproof Membranes are a favorite choice across diverse building grades, offering unparalleled waterproofing and seepage-proofing. They're perfect for both exposed and concealed areas such as flat and sloped roofs, underground spaces, tunnels, bridges, parking lots, reservoirs, and more.

Application method:
1. Substrate:
Ensure that the substrate is meticulously clean, dry, and free from all forms of contaminants, with an immaculate preparation.
All dust and loose, friable materials must be meticulously eradicated for optimal adhesion.
Blowholes and voids should be entirely exposed and subsequently repaired to ensure flawless application.
2. Primer:
Apply primer before laying the membrane. Clean the substrate using a dust catcher or blower, then coat it thoroughly with a treatment primer to ensure effective waterproofing, enhanced dust consolidation, and superior adhesion.
3. Membrane placement:
*Carefully unroll the torch-on membrane, aligning it with precision before initiating the torching or bonding process.
*Each membrane must be laid in parallel, maintaining a staggered distance of at least 1 meter to avoid coinciding joints.
*The end-to-end overlaps must be alternated, avoiding alignment along a single line for enhanced durability.
*Always begin at the lowest slope height starting with drains, downpipes, or other key details, to ensure optimal drainage.
*During torching, apply heat to both the membrane and substrate simultaneously, focusing intensively on the roll and overlap areas for seamless integration.
*Overlaps must be expertly welded, ensuring a thin trickle of melted mixture, approximately 1 cm wide, appears along the overlap line for a flawless seam.
4.Utilize a roller to firmly press down the membrane surface, guaranteeing a secure and enduring adhesion.


Attention:
1. Ensure the substrate is dry and immaculate. Avoid work during rain or snow to maintain quality.
2. Refrain from undertaking projects during heavy winds (above grade 5) to ensure safety and precision.
3. Unsuitable for construction when temperatures fall below 5°C, as it may compromise integrity.
4. In the event of rain or snow during construction, implement protective measures for the laid membrane to maintain its condition.
5. All personnel must don special uniforms for safety during installation, and fire control equipment is essential to uphold safety standards.


Packing and shipping:
1. Store membranes in dry, well-ventilated conditions to preserve quality.
2. Different membrane types must be stored separately to prevent damage or confusion.
3. Under normal conditions, the storage period is one year from the production date, ensuring product reliability.
4. Membrane rolls should be stored vertically during transportation and be shielded from sunlight and rain to prevent degradation.
