The PVC (polyvinyl chloride) film showcases a single-layer construction made from synthetic polymer material, celebrated for its exceptional weather resistance and long-lasting durability. Its user-friendly installation process makes it a top choice for any construction.
The PVC roof film is an eco-friendly marvel, crafted from recyclable materials. These membranes circumnavigate landfill disposal, contributing to a sustainable environment for future generations.
By reflecting sunlight away from the building, the PVC membrane significantly reduces heat absorption. This action leads to lower energy costs, optimizing temperature control and enhancing the building's energy efficiency.
Unmatched Performance and Durability
PVC roofs are a testament to longevity, often lasting over 30 years, thus eliminating concerns about frequent repairs or replacements, providing peace of mind and robust protection.
Impressive Resistance to Weather and Ultraviolet Radiation
These resilient PVC roofs are engineered to endure extreme weather conditions, including high winds, heavy rain, and relentless sun exposure, without succumbing to cracking, peeling, or splitting.
Superior Thermal Insulation
This advanced roof system aids in regulating indoor temperature, maintaining a cool interior during summer and warmth in winter. It promotes increased comfort and reduces energy consumption for heating or cooling, ensuring an eco-friendly solution.
Typically, there are two primary methods for installing PVC roof film:
Fully Adhered Method:
The film is securely affixed to the substrate using either an adhesive or a hot-air welding technique. This method boasts superior waterproof performance and enhanced wind uplift resistance, albeit requiring meticulous surface preparation and more time than alternative methods.
Mechanically Fastened Method:
The film is attached to the roof deck through mechanical anchors, such as screws or plates. This method offers a faster installation but may not provide the same level of water resistance as the fully adhered system. Factors such as building height, location, weather conditions, and local building codes should guide the choice of method.
Key Considerations for Installation: Regardless of your chosen method, several critical aspects must be considered. Evaluate the roof slope carefully, as PVC films are most effective on flat or low-pitched roofs to avert pooling issues. The insulation type beneath these membranes is crucial for optimal performance, necessitating the selection of complementary insulation material.

1) Criteria for Selecting Appropriate Waterproof Membranes:
- For exposed locations like rooftops, we recommend using TPO/PVC waterproof membranes, which can be either welded or glued for application.
- For non-exposed areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, we suggest high polymer PE+non-woven fabric, which can be applied with cement, allowing tiles to be adhered on top.
2) Is OEM Service Available?
- Absolutely! We warmly welcome OEM service at any time.
Please provide your logo, and we will design it for you. Alternatively, you can send us the finished design directly. We can print it on
the packing round paper, profile paper, or the exterior of the carton.
3) Are You a Factory?
- Yes, Shandong Chenhua Waterproof Co., Ltd. is a professional factory specializing in various waterproof materials since 1994. Located in China Waterproof Town - Taitou, our products cater to diverse waterproofing needs for both exposed and unexposed surfaces.
4) Delivery Timeline
- Typically, an order is completed within 10 days after confirmation. Delivery times may vary based on specific requirements and order quantities.
